A One-Page Portfolio

Together, we created:
  • Personal branding that feels like her
  • Copywriting that clicks with recruiters
  • Design ready for developer handoff

A one-page personal brand

Amanda is a developer in the corporate world. As she prepared for her next career move, she wanted a simple but strategic online presence—a space to show off her skills, highlight her portfolio, and offer a clear snapshot of what she brings to a team.

She came to me with a sharp mind for code, but less clarity on layout, brand feel, or how to write content that connects.

With our powers combined, we created a one-page site that makes a strong first impression.

Capturing her energy

We leaned into Amanda’s direct, straightforward style with a clean layout, structured hierarchy, and crisp typography. Rounded accents and a pop of yellow softened the look, creating a balance between clarity and warmth.

A Collaborative Build

I handled the branding, web design, and copy, then handed it off for Amanda to build herself — she’s a developer, after all!

Along with the mockup, I shared ideas for subtle animations and interactive touches she could develop herself to highlight her coding skills.

What started as a simple digital business card grew into a personal brand and a website she’s proud to share with hiring teams.

And yes — she landed the new job!

“I am super pleased with the way it looks now and I’m no longer embarrassed to add it to my linkedin profile”
